The Perfect Spray Bottle
A spray bottle is a must for me for hair products or toner. This little version is from a travel kit from Sephora (an amazing spot for min versions of absolutely everything). It’s great for anything that needs a spray or pump. Think beach wave spray, leave-in conditioner, toner, or even a body spray or your favorite fragrance.
Packing Tricks: Opt For Various Sizes
It’s tempting to just buy a travel-sized container kit or set, but you’re best option to actually have various types of containers, in various sizes. Some beauty products you will need more of (shampoo, conditioner, sunscreen), while others you’ll need much smaller amounts. Look for small, squishy containers for things like eye cream, serums, or spot treatments.
Toiletry Must-Haves: Look For Soft Containers
Squishy/soft containers are best for products–especially ones like shampoo and conditioner. Soft or squishy containers allow you to really get as much product out as possible, which is key when you’re trying to save as much space as possible. Shoppers Drug Mart, CVS, Walgreens and Boots are great places to find squishy toiletry containers.
Make-Shift Containers
In a pinch you can always use whatever containers you already have! Pill boxes are great for small amounts of product–eye creams, serums, oils. Another great option are contact lens cases–they secure tightly so you won’t have spills and they’re just the right size for liquid highlighters, gels or creams.
